Meet the team
MARLON RUBIO SMITH
Founder & Producer
Born and raised in Mexico City, Marlon grew up watching movies, especially in the superhero genre, which made him fall in love with film. Having recently graduated from UT Austin's film program, Marlon has produced several award-winning short films and music videos including Best Music Video at the 2021 College Filmmakers Film Festival for “Port Isabel” or the Best Student Short Film at the 2023 Hispanic Film Festival for his short film, "I'm New." When he is not on set, you can find him cuddling with his cat, Rosie, or playing a friendly soccer pick-up game with friends.
