Smith made ¿Cuando Perdí mi Cabeza? as his final project for the cinematography class. Having some experience with shooting his friends’ films and projects digitally, Marlon thought it would be a great opportunity to challenge himself and shoot his last college film on 16mm film. This experimental narrative follows a soon-to-graduate college senior who tries to set himself up for success post-graduation but loses a part of his identity. Will he find it or will IT remain lost?
This short is currently in its festival circuit and is set to premiere publicly in late 2025.
